Matt Jacobson

Mr. Jacobson, the head of Maine & Company wins the play of the week with the announcement of Athena Health Systems locating at the former MBNA facility in Belfast. The high energy Jacobson has proven Maine can win when we get in the race. Now, if we could just put him in charge of the State's economic development bureaucracy, maybe we could turn this economy around.

David Lemoine

The Lawyer and former Legislator had a tough week as the State's Treasurer. In addition to losing 20 million (potentially) in an investment gone south, Mr. Lemoine has reignited the argument to replace Maine's archaic system of selecting constitutional officers, like the State Treasurer. Currently, Legislators choose the folks to fill these spots, and this may suprise you -- but all of the spots are filled with former Legislators.
