Not satisfied with pretending to be a US Senate candidate for several months, Ms. Dobson has also pretended to be a reporter. The Kennebunk Post, in an editorial (note: link is a large pdf file the editorial is on page 9) gave Ms. Dobson a good whipping, and a well deserved one at that. Apparently Ms. Dobson decided to tell folks at a local water district meeting she was a reporter from the Post, she isn't. Later, after being questioned by the Post, she changed her story and decided she was a reporter from WERU, she isn't.
As a side note, there is an on going drama in the Kennebunks concerning "Big Water" and their evil ways --which makes it pretty obvious why Ms. Dobson had to be there under any conditions - to protect us from Big Water. Here's all you need to know about that issue - if people in K'port are upset about it, than I'm for it.
Anyway, it would also appear that in addition to her full time jobs as radio and newspaper reporter, Ms. Dobson is also claiming to be US Senate candidate, she isn't.
The post concludes the editorial with the understatement of the year," Dobson's actions should give pause to anyone considering supporting her pursuit for such a prominent office."
"Give pause?" I think a brake squealing, tire skidding stop is more like it.

Wacky Laurie aside...
... the Poland Spring sellout is being opposed by regular working-class people and small business owners in Kennebunk and Wells, as well as Kennebunkport elites. Poland Spring wants to grab a bunch of water out of our aquifer, bring no jobs to the area, run a bunch of big trucks over our roads, and pay a pittance for the privilege. If the well runs dry at Walker's Point, they can have the Secret Service guys drill a new one, but a lot of us in the area are worried about losing our water and not getting anything in return.
