Twelve national delegate slots up for grabs

As the convention begins to wind down, republicans will be selecting 12 more delegates to attend the national convention in St. Paul.

The Ron Paul campaign is trying to win a few more delegates, but so far has been fairly out gunned by a well organized McCain operation.

The McCain team has distributed a list of delegates and alternates that they are pushing.  The flyer urges convention goers to support those folks listed on the flyer.

The flyer also states " these loyal GOP supporters have pledged their support to our nominee Sen. John McCain and can be counted on to act in the best interest of the maine Republican Party at the national convention."

We hope to provide an update by 3:30 PM

McCain's games

I was at the convention and it was true that McCain's people were very organized and handed out lists that told the people who to vote for. The thing that greatly disturbed me was when we were voting on the ammendments to the platforms. The McCain people were actually holding up signs that said Y or N telling people how to vote. It was disgusting. Don't people have minds and opinions of their own? They actually voted for the possibility of MORE TAXES. All I can say is Baaaaaaaaaaaa!

mccain's games...

republican mom maine,
yes i was there and know exactly to what you are referring. it's interesting how you give these sheep the benefit of the doubt that they do have minds and opinions of their own.

who i feel sorry for is not the dumbed down adults but all the young people there who were being taught to be dumbed down by their parents etc. - now THAT is a travesty. and there were many of them with the tunnel vision. it really was unbelievable to behold.
