PORTLAND, Maine-- A group affiliated with MoveOn.Org and funded in part by partisan billionaire George Soros has launched another attack ad against Senator Susan Collins. The new ad, run by MoveOn.org affiliate VoteVets.Org, attempts to distort Senator Collins' record. These same groups have already spent more than $1 million on attack ads against Senator Collins. In the short term, Allen has proposed a home heating oil tax credit of up to $2,000 for families to help them through the winter. He also has suggested providing low-interest loans to give to people toward weatherizing their homes.

As Maine Goes Website Delivers Beat Down to Allen Campaign

OK—I am not a conspiracy theorist or a person who thinks the media is in the tank for one party or the other. But channel 6 and channel 8 should be publicly flogged for running Tom Allen’s campaign piece on his so-called “first time home buyers bill.”
