Lindell: Finks and Cohen don’t represent Paul campaign

Ken Lindell, coordinator of the Maine Ron Paul campaign, said the two men removed from the Maine Republican Convention earlier did not represent the campaign, although both said earlier that they were Paul supporters.

Paul opens Bangor office

Presidential candidate Ron Paul’s Bangor office will hold its grand opening ceremony tonight at 7 p.m.

So far, Paul is one of three candidates to place paid staff in Maine, along with Dennis Kucinich and Barack Obama.

“Get ready for a lightning campaign as we have just three short weeks to gear up for the Maine Caucuses,” Paul’s state coordinator Ken Lindell wrote in a release.

The campaign opened its Portland office last week.

Paul campaign opens for business

Republican Stavros Mendros, a former Lewiston lawmaker, is the Maine Field Director for Ron Paul, a Texas congressman running for president.

The Paul campaign opened the doors of its Portland headquarters Thursday evening. Paul is one of two presidential candidates with paid staff in Maine, along with Ohio Democrat Dennis Kucinich.

Forrest Keever owns the Congress Street building, and as he hung up the sign above the door, he said he has been a long time Paul supporter, so he was glad to rent it to the campaign.
