Depends
Depends if people notice that she has no experience with national issues. McCain is 75 and has a long list of medical issues. If Palin has to step up as president she'll not have a clue on issues of trade, foreign policy, national economics and so forth. That would make her very susceptible to bad advice by special interests. Her husband works in oil production which puts a slant on that issue and could result in us being decades behind in energy technology. Why invest in a energy source that is finite, requires processing outside our country, and causes air pollution when we have limitless potential and native job growth in wind and solar in our own country?
I do like her for the amazing things she has done to cut waste and root out corruption in her state however she is no where near a good choice for VP. Her party unfortunately is using her, hoping to corner the Clinton supporters, in a desperate attempt to pull attention away from Biden and the recent convention. She should of been left to go on to the national senate and mature into a republican that could clean up the party and provide experienced leadership once the special interests are cleaned out.
should have been left to mature?
I recall many republican pundits making that argument when it came to Obama - one day, but not today. They got tarred and feathered in the blogosphere as just being racists.
Does that make you sexist?
Palin Neutering Biden
What this imaginative pick does is neuralize the experience issue which apparently wasn't working well. Its similar to Mondale's pick of Ferraro who knew he couldn't beat Reagan without a Hail Mary pass.
