The “business community,” led by Dana Connors, met today to organize a rally in support of the Governor’s no new tax pledge. The polls support that, and apparently a new poll out later this week will lend more support to that effort.
One problem --That would mean cuts.
What cuts? Good question.
Unfortunately, the business community couldn’t quite bring themselves to touch that issue- which makes them a lot like…….well…..the Legislature.
So the Rally is on hold, for now, while the “business community” tries to come up with the cuts needed to support the no new taxes pledge.
Stay tuned.
