Ds play power politics on Hoffman's head

Rank and file Democrats ought to be ashamed of their state party and Tom Allen for going to such lengths to keep Hoffman off the ballot.

Allen once again is taking a white glove approach by allowing others to do his work - just as he never called for a halt to the "independent" expenditures that demonized and sunk Jim Longley's bid for re-election.

Leadership is doing your own heavy lifting. Allen and the Democratic Party leadership fail that test once again.
