McCain takes Washington County
By Jessica Alaimo, PolitickerME.com ReporterWhile most of the state pulled for Mitt Romney yesterday, John McCain won in Washington County.
McCain got 51 votes in the county, Romney got 40, and Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee got eight votes apiece. There were 113 voters.
McCain got most of his votes in Calais and Perry, the two towns to have more than 10 voters show up.
