The Maine Republican Party is hosting a debate-watch party tonight in preparation of Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin’s visit to Bangor Thursday.
They are meeting at the Bangor Republican Party headquarters to make signs and watch the debate.
Members of the Maine Democratic Party are planning to protest Palin’s visit. They are organizing for an anti-Palin rally to be held near the entrance of the Bangor International Airport Thursday.
Democrats are also organizing a debate watch party in Portland. They will be joined by Arlene Holt Baker, executive vice president of the national AFL-CIO, and are meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Teamsters Local 340 Hall in South Portland.
