Portland local candidates to debate Sunday

On the local level there are several competitive races in Portland. At 7:30 p.m. on Sunday there will be a local candidate’s debate hosted by the Munjoy Hill Neighborhood Organization.

The following candidates will attend the event at St. Lawrence Arts Center at 76 Congress Street:

Senate District 8: Justin Alfond (D-Portland), Bill Linnell (Green Independent-Portland), Eric Lusk (R-Portland)
House District 120: Sandy Amborn (Green-Independent-Portland), Peter Doyle (R-Portland), Diane Russell (D-Portland)
School Committee at-large: Liz Holton, Anna Trevorrow
City Council at-large: Tina Smith, Ed Suslovic, Dory Waxman
