Summers: Palin understands the energy crisis

Charlie Summers, the Republican candidate for the First Congressional District, said Gov. Sarah Palin will take a strong stand in making sure the country drills its own resources to solve the energy crisis.

His full statement:

"I am excited by Senator McCain's selection of Governor Palin. Governor Palin understands first hand the energy crisis we are facing today and is willing to take a strong stand in making sure we drill in America for our own resources. Her hands-on knowledge of the energy issues facing America will be critically important in the campaign and as she serves as Vice President.

"Senator McCain has chosen a running mate that will both challenge the status quo and help to change the way politics is conducted in Washington. Her historic nomination will bring excitement and energy to the race and her executive experience will further strengthen Senator McCain's campaign."

Palin

Palin's selection proves that John McCain doesn't believe experience is a required qualifiication for President; that he will go to any length to pander to the most extreme wing of the Republican Party; and that he has very poor judgement.
Palin knows nothing except how to rat out her friends and to take the most extreme positions possible. She a piece of work who will be exposed in the campaign.
She does satisfy one McCain requirement. She's a beauty queen who will look very good with his wife. A trophy VP for a trophy wife. Boy, McCain has no respect for women.
Hey, Charlie since the Republican position is to increase US production of oil and maintain high prices. Isn't McCain's position to sacrifice the lives of working people to protect Oil company profits.
