Maine Democratic Convention update: 4:00 p.m.

There’s a bit of a hold up in the Cumberland County caucus. Ballots have been distributed and instructions given, but there aren’t enough pens to go around.

Party officials are scrambling to fix the problem.

In the meantime, party officials are still trying to figure out the delegate-alternate mess

“This is beginning to look like Florida,” remarked one observer.

UPDATE: There also seems to be problems with the scan machines that are used to count ballots, which has held up many of the counties.
