Baldacci: “We have leadership that is looking backwards instead of forward”

Part 1 video, Part 2 video

Gov. John Baldacci just gave a rousing speech calling for change in the national administration, discussing health care, trade agreements and the country’s dependence on foreign oil.

He used the recent mill closures as an example of how the federal policies are hurting Maine.

“Our country needs new leadership,” Baldacci said.

He criticized the country’s occupation overseas. “They should be paying attention here, today, in this country.”

Baldacci, a superdelegate, is a Hillary Clinton supporter. “Hillary Clinton has the experience and abilities to hit the ground running,” Baldacci said. “I’ve known Hillary Clinton for 15 years. I know her ability, she cares, she knows what we can do and what we can’t do.”

When Baldacci mentioned Clinton, the crowd gave a healthy cheer. But when he mentioned Barack Obama, they roared.

“Outside of this hall we’re all Democrats, outside of this hall we all stand together,” Baldacci said.

He promised to “come down hard” on those who stray away from the party this year.

“While we may not get what we want, we are going to stand together and realize what our country needs,” Baldacci said.

More details and video later.

Baldacci Is the dumbest guy

Baldacci Is the dumbest guy in Maine politics. He spouts platitudes and non sequiturs like it’s a habit for him. The only people who are beguiled by his miseloquence are the 39% of the population who voted for the moron.
