Lawrence: Impeach Bush
By Jessica AlaimoMark Lawrence has released his first ad, saying that President Bush needs to be impeached.
Lawrence, currently the York County District Attorney, is running as a Democrat in the First Congressional District.
“Impeaching Bush isn’t a distraction, it’s our duty,” Lawrence says in the ad. “As a prosecutor I believe no one is above the law, including a president.”

Mark Lawrence is speaking loudly and clearly to all sixteen people in the first district who think impeaching Bush should be on anyone's priority list. Before seeing that ad I thought I'd give the Lawrence campaign a look to see how he planned to differentiate himself from the pack. This made it easy. Bush will be gone by the time the next Congress is sworn in. Impeachment was a nice-but-radical thought...back in 2006.

Congratulations to Mark Lawrence for insisting on the immediate Impeachment of Bush and Cheney. The principal crimes -- but not the only crimes -- with which I charge Bush are his Signing Statements, which comprise MORE THAN 1,100 DIRECT ASSAULTS ON THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. I completely agree that Bush should be removed NOW before his stunning attacks on the American RULE OF LAW become precedent for the next White House occupant who uses Bush's unpunished behavior as the basis for also ignoring the U.S. Constitution. We Americans will have only ourselves to blame. Go for it Mark! THANK YOU FOR STANDING TALL FOR AMERICA.
