York County District Attorney Mark Lawrence (D-South Berwick), a candidate for Congress in Maine’s First District, has raised over $415,000 in his bid for the Democratic nomination.
“I am very pleased with the grassroots support my campaign has received across the district,” said Lawrence, whose campaign contributions have come from over 1,400 individual donors.
Approximately $90,000 of Lawrence’s total amount raised came in the most recent fundraising quarter, from January 1st through March 31st.
Lawrence’s Campaign Manager, Marc Malon, was pleased with the results.
“This is a grassroots campaign,” said Malon. “We are right where we need to be to win this race.”
