Maine's beaches get a boost

Snowe and Susan Collins recently announced that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's New England Office has awarded a $252,200 grant to help Maine's Healthy Beaches program oversee and improve the water quality and safety of Maine's coastal beaches.
