State Rep. Troy Jackson, D-Fort Kent, will run for the state Senate in November. He filed with the Ethics Commission Wednesday.
He is seeking the seat of Sen. John Martin, D-Eagle Lake, who is termed out and plans to run for Jackson’s seat.
Jackson is in his third term in the House. Martin has been around since 1964.
