Duson gets Portland post on Strimling campaign

Democrat Ethan Strimling, running for U.S. Congress in District 1, has picked up a Portland Campaign Chair: Portland City Councilor and former Mayor Jill Duson.

Duson said, “I am so proud to volunteer my time in support of Ethan Strimling’s campaign for Congress.  Ethan has invested his entire adult life to economic justice for lower and middle-income Maine families. His work, like mine, has focused on giving all people a voice.  I know without a doubt that he will take this shared commitment to Congress with him.”

“It’s great to have someone with Jill Duson’s passion and enthusiasm joining my campaign,” Strimling said. “She is well respected as a community-builder and brings a wealth of on-the-ground experience with her. Jill will be a huge asset as we build our grass roots organization together and connect with voters throughout the First District. ”
