Campaign: ‘Huckabee has not wavered’

Mike Huckabee supporters are consistently blaming the media for writing them off, when they feel their candidate is still viable.

In Lewiston, a supporter got up and talked about family values and the need for changes in the IRS.

She complained about the lack of equal time for her candidate. “This is not a two-man race,” she said, noting that allegation came from the “lying propaganda of the mainstream media.”

Jason SchlosserIn Damariscotta, Jason Schlosser of Southport said he likes the former Arkansas governor for his support of the fair tax, and support of the sanctity of life.

He noted how Huckabee stepped up after Hurricane Katrina, when victims retreated to Arkansas.

“He’s one of the nation’s best governors,” Schlosser said.

Amy Hale, volunteer coordinator of Huckabee’s campaign in Maine, said even though Huckabee finished fourth the campaign made some impact on the state’s voters.

“The McCain and Romney campaigns had legislators speaking on their behalf, but we had ordinary citizens who stepped outside of their comfort zones and spoke to crowds of people, many for the first time,” Hale said in an e-mail. “They spoke from their heart and made very moving speeches.”

Huckabee is still a very viable candidate, despite media outlets saying he can’t win and other candidates saying a vote for him is a wasted vote, Hale said. Delegates to the state convention will continue to support him.

“Our belief in Huckabee has not wavered and we will continue to help other states in any way we can,” Hale said.

Please read this article and you will know Mitt Romney is not a conservative.

Why vote for a Mitt Romney who is a Liberal in disguise.

Huckabee

If all the people who wanted to vote for Huckabee just did it, he'd win the nomination. Instead, they listen to the media (and Romney, Limbaugh and Hannity) who encourage them to use their vote to "block" one of the other candidates. The BEST way to block McCain (liberal) or Romney (flip flopper: pro-choice, gun rights) is to vote for Huckabee. He CAN win this nomination.

Comeback

You know, that no one gave the Giants a chance either against the Patriots. In the same way Huckabee has been counted out. I agree with the last post, that if people would stop listening to media outlets and truly search the candidates heart, you will discover their motivation and integrity. Huckabee has clearly shown that he is the most compassionate, creative and courageous candidate. AND most importantly the most consistent. People of the US, children of God, Patriots, Republicans, Independents, Democrats... Rally around this man and watch the country be changed and united. Let's not nominate someone just because we "think" they can defeat Hilary. Let's nominate the right candidate who can truly enact change in this country.

McCain on Huckabee

Folks ought to see what McCain himself is saying about Huckabee--things like "viable" and "formidable". Not the words of a man certain that the nomination is his.

Because Desney was pitching an idea over the phone, he was not protected under copyright law, which only protects the written expression of ideas and not ideas themselves.

This phenomenon can have

This phenomenon can have both positive and negative effects. On the positive side, the online social environment offers new opportunities by extending the social life of a high school student beyond the realm of school.

I agree with Cris. Had people voted their conscious instead of listening to the media, huckabee would have been the nominee. Just like clinton for the democrats.

Huckabee was the only one

Huckabee was the only one who had a good communication skills and voice. He reminded me of Reagan.
