Prior to joining Allen's 2006 congressional campaign as finance director, Holmes was an associate for Pineau Policy Associates.

Carol Andrews, Communications Director

A former journalist, Andrews has led strategic communications efforts for a variety of political, corporate and non-profit interests across the nation for the past 20 years. She directed earned communications strategies for the 2006 U.S. Senate campaign of former Congressman Harold Ford Jr. in Tennessee. A former press secretary to Washington Gov. Chris Gregoire, Andrews has also worked for labor concerns and has been a leader in national efforts to battle privatization of prisons.

Mike Nutter, Internet Director

This native of Waldoboro, Maine was an intern in Congressman Allen's district office before being hired as Technology and Outreach Coordinator there. His work on Allen's congressional web site earned the 2007 Gold Mouse Award from the Congressional Management Foundation, a non-profit, non-partisan management consulting and research organization in Washington, D.C. CMF rated the site one of the top two in the House of Representatives. Nutter is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine. He joined the Allen for Senate campaign in 2007.

Dan Coyne, Deputy Campaign Manager

Coyne was most recently the Director of Economic Development and Special Projects for Congressman Allen and is a past legislative assistant.
